EDUCATION WEEK 2021

In January of 2021, Inclusivity Hong Kong conducted an initiative called Education Week 2021, which was dedicated to using virtual workshops to educate Hong Kong students about issues of racism, pronouns, and sexual harassment. These workshops were led by experts within the Hong Kong community and allowed us to bring previously unfamiliar topics to a student audience, encouraging values of inclusion, equity, justice, and self-discovery.

These workshops were facilitated by individuals with extensive experience in their fields, with our Outreach Director Dash Okolovich hosting a workshop on pronouns, and guest facilitators Yong Deng and Innocent Mutanga hosting workshops on sexual harassment and anti-racism respectively. With impressive turnout, this was our first major foray as an organization into conducting workshops, and we hope to do so again in the future due to the extremely positive response we recieved.
