To us, connecting with a wide audience of Hong Kong’s young people was an incredible opportunity, and we did not take it lightly. That’s why we used this platform to uplift integral and crucial resources for HK’s LGBTQ+ community in multiple languages and hosted a live stream to answer questions posed to us by Hong Kong’s students.

Inclusivity Hong Kong is a firm believer in inclusive education at all levels. In this spirit, we worked to start our first ever university chapter in early 2021, at HKU. Since then, the chapter has grown and energized a large cohort of HKU students united in their common goal of inclusion, equity and justice on campus. We hope to continue our expansion into university campuses across Hong Kong.

Inclusivity Hong Kong is dedicated to working with parents, educators, and students alike to make schools in Hong Kong more inclusive. In that spirit, we launched a partnership with Mama Tribe HK to deepen our ties to Hong Kong’s diverse parent community.

In January of 2021, Inclusivity Hong Kong conducted an initiative called Education Week 2021, which was dedicated to using virtual workshops to educate Hong Kong students about issues of racism, pronouns, and sexual harassment. These workshops were led by experts within the Hong Kong community and allowed us to bring previously unfamiliar topics to a student audience, encouraging values of inclusion, equity, justice, and self-discovery.

Quaranteens Against Xenophobia is a global awareness campaign to fight the rising tide of anti-Asian xenophobia. Featured in TeenVogue magazine and having built a coalition of global organizations to spearhead the fight against xenophobia, QTSAX is one of InclusivityHK’s signature campaigns.

In October of 2019, Inclusivity Hong Kong hosted a booth at Hong Kong Pride which garnered the support of hundreds of parade attendees. Inclusivity Hong Kong’s booth was frequented by teachers, students, and adult allies from across Hong Kong who offered their support and helped Inclusivity Hong Kong grow by over 200 members in one afternoon.
